Slovenia got one of Europe’s best zip-line parks with amazing views from the zip-line. The unrivalled views of the Soča river, Soča Valley and the Bovec is guaranteed to take your breath away.

The Zip-line park is located in the Alpine valley of Krnica on the edge of mountain Kanin, mostly known for Slovenia’s highest ski resort with the same name.

What is Zip-lining?

Zip-lining is similar to a theme park ride and consists of a pulley suspended under a cable spanning between two high points. There is no engine and gravity alone will pull you along from one side to the other.

The Slovenian Zip-line Adventure

The zip-line adventure begins with a drive up the mountainside in the instructor's 4x4 car and the car drive is in itself worth the money for it's 10km scenic mountain road.

Once the starting point of the zip-line is reached, you will be harnessed onto the zip-wire and prepared for your flight.

Suspended above the trees you will whizz down the line to the base of the mountain. The zip-lines are in total 2.4 kilometres long, comprising of 4 lines approximately 500 metres each. The estimated top speed is 40 - 60 km/h and you will be flying 130 - 200 metres above the ground

No tiness levels or special sporting skills are required, you only need a strong heart, a sense of adventure and a willingness to have a go. Minimum age is 12 years and the dress code is strictly ‘comfortable clothes’.
